Classic Cold Brew
The original · 18h steep
Cold Brew House · Est. 2019
Small-batch cold brew, steeped eighteen hours in the dark and finished with nothing but time. No ice shortcuts, no hurry — just the darkest, smoothest pour in the house.
01 — Our story
Cold Brew House began in a garage with one glass jar, a bag of Huila beans, and a question: what happens if you simply… wait? Eighteen hours later, the answer was a cup so smooth it made the espresso machine feel rude.
We never warmed the water. We never hurried the clock. Every batch is steeped cold, filtered twice, and bottled the same morning — because patience, it turns out, is a flavor.
“Good coffee can’t be hurried. It can only be waited for.”
— June Park, founder & head steep-keeper
02 — The ritual
Single-origin lots from Huila, Colombia and Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia — chosen for chocolate depth that survives a long, cold sleep.
Coarse, like sea salt. Too fine and the wait turns bitter; we want surface area, not turbulence.
Cold water, room-dark silence, eighteen hours. The jar does the work; we do the waiting.
Filtered twice, bottled the same morning, poured over fresh ice. Nothing added. Nothing rushed.
03 — The Steep Lab
Steep time is the quiet dial behind every cold brew. Slide it and watch the color deepen, the bitterness climb, and the flavor notes turn from bright to brooding.
